How does booking work?+
Choose a package, then your date and time, then pay the deposit to confirm.
Which week is best for a maternity shoot?+
We recommend weeks 28 to 32. After week 36 the bump grows quickly, and many mothers start to experience swelling and back pain.
Is hair and makeup included?+
Yes, every maternity package includes one hour of professional hair and makeup.
Do I need to bring outfits?+
We provide a range of maternity gowns to choose from. Dads are asked to bring their own outfit.
Should we bring props?+
You are welcome to bring ultrasound scans, tiny clothes or shoes, a handmade album, or any small keepsake that matters to you. It makes the set feel truly yours.
Can we bring our pet?+
Pets are family too. You are very welcome to bring them along.
What if there is a typhoon or black rainstorm?+
Under a black rainstorm warning or typhoon signal 8 or above we will reschedule once free of charge. Please tell us at least two hours before your makeup call time.
Where is the studio?+
Our studio is at TML Tower, Tsuen Wan. It is easy to reach by public transport and the building has parking.
Do you shoot Korean style maternity portraits?+
Yes. Maternity sessions come in natural, black and white and Korean Pantone styles, and you can mix them to your taste.
How much is a maternity, baby or family session?+
Maternity from HKD 2,800, newborn and 100 days from HKD 3,800, family portraits from HKD 2,800. The final price depends on group size, settings and add-ons. See the price list below or message us on Instagram.
When is the best time for a newborn shoot?+
Ideally 7 to 14 days after birth. At this stage the joints and muscles are still very soft and babies sleep deeply for most of the session, which makes posing far easier. Newborns change fast, so try not to miss this window.

Do you offer at-home sessions?+
Yes, at-home sessions are available for newborns, or you can come to our studio at TML Tower, Tsuen Wan.
What is the difference between at-home and studio?+
Some of our larger props and sets are difficult to transport, so those styles are studio only.
At home or in the studio, which is better?+
Either works. Shooting at home spares a very young baby the journey, while our Tsuen Wan studio offers far more styled sets and props.
Do you shoot 100 days, first birthday or cake smash?+
Yes. BABYG covers 100 days portraits, first birthday sessions, the zhuazhou grabbing ceremony and cake smash shoots, so every milestone is recorded.
How many people fit in the studio?+
Around 20 people. Note that family packages include up to 10 people, with extra guests at HKD 300 each.
Can our pet join the family portrait?+
Pets are family too, so they are very welcome. Each extra member, including pets, is HKD 300.
Do you shoot family portraits in Tsuen Wan?+
Yes. Our Tsuen Wan studio covers full family portraits, parent and child sessions and three generation groups.
